what once was a vintage gold curtain,
is now a cute little skirt!
this week turned out to be much busier than expected,
but i was finally able to finish my gold curtain skirt last night!
my mom had given me a lovely gold and cream brocade curtain she had found,
and i thought it would make a darling pencil skirt.

i just used a simple skirt pattern i had from my pattern making classes at school.
the bow was inspired by this big bow skirt made by liz of say yes to hoboken,
and i'm really happy with how it turned out!
(although i do think i need to resew the bow on, i was tired and its a bit crooked...)
overall i am just so excited to have completed my first sewing project of the summer,
hooray!
