from the archives - gingham clutch

happy monday everyone!

this week is going to be so super busy
with training and getting ready for the upcoming school year next tuesday!

i thought it could be fun to spend this week on the blog
posting some projects and posts from the archives that you might have missed!
i have quite a few new readers that might like to see them,
and i know sometimes i love a good trip down memory lane.

today i'm revisiting a gingham clutch i posted about on july 9th of last year.
this was the first project i made after the mr and i moved to portland,
and i still love using it for late night ice cream dates :]

......................................................................................................................................................

so i finally got that poor old sewing machine out.
i was inspired by that little pink striped tote bag below,
that bow was just too cute!
i had some summery gingham bits leftover from my sewing class,
but of course once i sewed it up, it was too small and whimpy for a tote...
enter creativity!
fold it over and its perfect clutch size.
stick that fatty bow on top and its ready for a summer night ice cream run :]
